Note: Fujikura shafts can only be purchased
fully assembled. Please be sure to choose what head and grip you would like so
your order is not delayed.
Fujikura uses the patented Triax™ graphite fiber material
used in the manufacturing of Fujikura's Speeder line of shafts. The Speeder is
composed of plied uni-directional graphite sheets. Graphite fibers of a shaft
are strong when forces act upon the shaft along the alignment of the fiber. The
graphite fibers are not as strong against forces out of the alignment.
Therefore, graphite shafts need to be consisted of a ply of liner, which is
horizontal and bias. As a result, the shaft will respond to forces from multiple
directions. A golf shaft has a tendency to go from a perfect circle to an oval
shape during the golf swing. The bending and twisting is the main reason for the
shaft to go from a circle to an oval. Triax, using its honeycomb structure,
allows the shaft to return to round more rapidly. Triax has minimum vibration
during miss hit shots at impact resulting in better consistency and direction.
This is Speeder technology using the Triax engine only from Fujikura. This is
the players version of the Speeder 569. It has a stiffer tip section for better
control and a lower ball flight. This is the ultimate combination of control and
distance in the Speeder line of shafts. This is the premier line of shafts in
all of golf!
